l By Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR), pentylene glycol is classified as "S" by Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR). It can be used in concentrations up to 5% and is compatible with various commonly used cosmetic ingredients. 

l The recommended dosage is 0.5-2.0%.
